The result is a pelagic powerhouse with mezzanine cockpit, ultramodern construction, and optional hardcore sportfishing package that is virtually guaranteed to turn heads and win trophies. Notably, our 60 is one of the few production fiberglass boats to feature a tumblehome transom and a completely resin-infused hull - a one-two punch that produces a lovely frame as well as a light, durable, structurally precise running bottom. Exterior Details

Featuring a professional-grade cockpit, next-generation hull construction, and all the specialized gear a big-game angler could desire, the Hatteras 60 Convertible is your ticket to the tournament winner’s circle.

Wide-Open Cockpit. The 60’s cockpit benefits from a wide, 19’ beam and mezzanine level that provides cushioned seating for exceptional visibility. The angling arsenal includes a freezer, tackle drawers, large icebox for baits, and two massive fish boxes located in the cockpit sole (these run longitudinally to prevent damage to fish that can occur in transverse boxes). Additional perks come in the form of a refrigerated drink cooler, ice collection bin, and wet storage compartment for mop heads and chamois. The cockpit is finished to the highest degree, with curved doors that hide the twin 50-amp inlets and quick disconnects for fresh and saltwater wash-downs.

Safe & Secure Flybridge. On the bridge, a pod-style helm with a power-actuated console protects your electronics from the elements when not in use. Just forward of this is an insulated drink cooler, plus room for an optional freezer. Ample rod storage can be found under the forward and starboard lounge seats. Murray Products teak helm chairs come standard, as do backup controls beneath the helm, should an emergency arise.

Resin-Infused Hull. The 60 features a fully resin-infused hull, rather than one constructed from layers of hand-laid fiberglass. Resin-infusion technology — the process of impregnating fiberglass with resin instead of spraying or rolling it on — produces a more uniform hull thickness and results in the most ideal glass-to-resin ratio. This creates a hull that is stiffer (because there are no voids in the fiberglass) and weighs significantly less (because of the lowered resin content). At the same time, resin infusion allows for a more precise fit of bulkheads, stringers, and other components for increased strength and durability.

Interior Details

Excellent interior design is never an afterthought at Hatteras. Our 60 Convertible’s three-stateroom, two-head layout allows owners and guests to recharge in laid-back splendor, so they will always be ready for the next adventure.

Sumptuous Salon. Our 60’s inviting salon features an L-shaped sofa with rod storage beneath, plus an entertainment center with 42-inch flat-screen TV for the ultimate in relaxation. Genuine wood veneers in either high-gloss or satin finish enhance the warm, welcoming environment, which is complemented perfectly by any of the 15 décor schemes available from our in-house design team. For easy access from the cockpit, the electrical distribution panel is located just inside the sliding door.

Gourmet Galley. Food storage is not an issue thanks to two under-counter Sub-Zero® refrigerator/freezer units, with a third available as an option. Serve up the catch of the day using the four-burner ceramic cook top or the microwave/convection oven. Amtico® simulated teak flooring and solid-surface countertops and backsplashes give the galley an elegant look with long-lasting durability. To starboard, a large dinette is served by an L-shaped lounge with storage underneath. The table here sports a solid-surface top and decorative pedestal.

Master Stateroom. Located amidships for enhanced size, stability, and comfort, this private owner’s retreat is equipped with an oversized queen berth and 20-inch flat-screen TV. Nightstands on either side of the bed provide convenient storage, as do a full dresser and twin cedar-lined hanging lockers. The master head features a fiberglass stall shower, Amtico® flooring, and solid-surface countertops and backsplashes.

Guests Welcome. Similar to other Hatteras models, the bow stateroom of our 60 centers on a walk-around queen berth with cedar-lined storage underneath. Drift off to the optional 20-inch flat-screen TV. Storage is abundant, with twin cedar-lined hanging lockers, drawers, and optional cabinets in the hull sides. Overnight tournament fishermen will appreciate the option of crisscrossing bunks to maximize sleeping capacity. The starboard stateroom has twin over/under berths with storage beneath and to the side. The latter can be used as a rod locker, or for bulk storage on longer trips.
